2018 Cypress Festival Association wrap-up meeting

The 2018 Cypress Festival Association held a wrap-up meeting at the Cypress Senior Center on Wednesday, September 19.

Committee chairs shared what they knew about how things went right, and how things went astray at the 2018 Cypress Community Festival.

For what went right, the Association members talked over how to make them even better.

For what went astray, Association members suggested how to keep things on track for the 2019 Festival.

The next meeting of the Festival Association will be on January 16, 2019, at 6:30 p.m. at the Cypress Senior Center. You are invited to attend if you would like to help organize the Festival.

If you have comments or suggestions about the 2018 Festival, or would like to offer suggestions for the 2019 Festival, email the Cypress Community Festival Association at info@cypressfestival.com!

It’s a wrap!

It was a long, long, long day — but by 6 p.m. the Festival grounds were empty of Festival goers, entertainers, and vendors.

The Cypress Festival Association would like to thank everyone for coming by — we look forward to seeing all y’ll next year on July 27, 2019, the last Saturday in July.

Everyone is invited to the Cypress Festival Mixer

As part of the build-up to Festival Day, Cypress Community College joins with the Cypress Area Chamber of Commerce to hold a Festival Mixer.

This year, the Festival Mixer will be held on July 26, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. just west of the pond in the center of campus. Food will be served. A no-host bar will be manned.

Members of the Cypress Community Festival Committee will personally thank Festival Sponsors. It’s a chance to meet and rub elbows with residents, business people, all levels of administrators from local school districts, Cypress City staff members, and local elected officials.

The cost is $5/person, payable on entry.
